I saw a headline this morning that John Bolton was "almost certain" that Iran was involved with the sabotage of the oil ship on Mother's Day weekend. He's not completely certain, but almost.
If I had a billion dollars for every time I was "almost certain" about something, I would be wealthy beyond my dreams. Seriously, what we should take away from this is they have no clue of who damaged the ship. So let's work through the key questions.
What: An oil carrying ship was sabotaged with an explosive.
When: May 12, 2019.
Where: United Arab Emirates docks.
Who has the most to gain by carrying this out?: Israel.
Why: They want a war with Iran so they can steal oil in addition to what they already have.
How: By placing explosives at weak points on a haul of a ship, you can blow a good size hole in it without sinking it.
Results: The US is sending more troops in that area and warships as well to make a statement to Iran; "We're coming for your oil".
