One the greatest pleasures for me when skiing in the mountains is to stop, sit on the snow and look around. Especially in late afternoon, when the slopes become empty, the shadows grow longer and the light turns almost blue. Maybe you hear apres-ski music from far away, maybe some lift still rattles, maybe there is just silence around.
