My first attempt to solder aluminium.
Cast aluminium to aluminium profile and a frame made out out aluminium profile pieces.
(those four parts for attaching the wheels are cut out of a aluminium frying pan)

Aluminio de fundición al perfil de aluminio y el cuadro construido a partir de cortes de perfil.
( las cuatro piezas para acoplar las ruedas son recortes de un sartén de aluminio )

It works just fine but the temperature that makes it adhere to the base aluminium frame might be still too high.
Next I will try those Durafix sticks and compare the results.
Even though inox brush is being recommended everywhere, it looks like sandpaper and steel brush work alright. To make sure it´s free of aluminium and sandpaper dust, once the aluminium oxide layer has been removed, I just gave it a final touch using that steel brush drill piece.
El resultado ha sido bueno pero creo que la temperatura requerida para que el alambre fundido adhiera al material base sigue siendo demasiado alta.
A continuación quiero probar con las varillas Durafix y hacer una comparativa del resultado.
A pesar de que todos recomiendan usar un cepillo de acero inoxidable para quitar la capa de óxido, al parecer el papel de lija y el cepillo de acero funcionan bien. Para eliminar el polvo de aluminio y del papel de lijar y cuando la capa de óxido se haya eliminado por completo, he repasado las áreas a unir con el cepillo de acero. .
