The development trend of aluminum packaging

As we all know, aluminum is a metal, and its output is second only to the  output of steel. But aluminum has only been a packaging material for only 30  years. In recent years, the amount of aluminum in packaging has continued to  increase because of its excellent performance. Its density is only one-third of  the density of steel, it is easy to be processed into various complex shapes,  corrosion resistance, no rust; barrier, shading, excellent fragrance, can  effectively protect the product.

High thermal conductivity, easy to sterilize aluminum can, silver white,  bright color and light reflectivity is high, easy to print, good printing  effect, non-toxic, tasteless, food that will not be caused by aluminum ion  escape and built-in odor; container Remelted scrap can be recycled without  environmental pollution. The main disadvantages are: soft material, low  strength, easy to be deformed by collision, poor welding performance, weld seam;  poor corrosion resistance of acid and alkali, not clothing, fruit food; high  cost, and so on.

Aluminum packaging materials are mainly used in the packaging industry in  three forms: pure aluminum, alloy aluminum and aluminum foil.

The first form: pure aluminum and aluminum alloy

Aluminum is 99.9% pure aluminum, and the thickness is generally between 0.25  and 0.3 mm. It is soft, low in strength and is less used in packaging materials,  but it is also useful for alcohol containers.

A small amount of magnesium, manganese and copper alloy are added to the  aluminum alloy to process the composition. Commonly used aluminum-alloyed  aluminum-magnesium alloy and aluminum-manganese alloy, also known as rust-proof  aluminum. Significantly improve the strength and hardness of aluminum alloy,  corrosion resistance, polishing, good long-term preservation is still a bright  appearance.

Aluminum alloy is used in the production of canned fish and canned food  containers. It will not produce sulfides as a blackening phenomenon in tin cans.  A packaged beverage will not cause the phenomenon of drinking and flavor  changes.

The second form: aluminum foil

It is made of aluminum foil 99.5% aluminum rolled, at 0.005? thickness 0.2mm.  It is light, shiny, reflective, can be used for thermal insulation; good  barrier, airtight body, and water vapor, easy to process, easy to process into  various shapes, easy to print, sizing, painting, coloring, stamping , printing,  etc.; temperature adaptability, high temperature or low temperature shape  stability; shadow, and other excellent perfume preservation. The biggest  disadvantage is that the metal foil is not resistant to acid, alkali, soldering,  low strength and tear resistance.

Aluminum foil is widely used in packaging, which can be packaged separately;  more work to be done, plastic film made of composite materials such as paper,  food, cigarette, cosmetics, medicine, chemical, packaging, etc., can be divided  into retort pouch, packaged Convenient food and cooking food.Dalica recently provide airless Pump Bottle with high technology aluminum packaging inside.
