Without much warning at all, parts of the huge cliff would begin to crumble and fall on unlucky beachgoers, injuring as many as 10 people in the midday nightmare.
Rescue crews and officials have spoken on the incident,
"We haven't found any trapped people but we will continue searching," one spokesperson for the fire brigade said.'
One witness was also quoted by a BBC reporter saying,
"There was a noise and a small piece of rock fell, then a second bigger and finally a third big piece of rock that during the fall created a sea whirlpool that overturned the boats,"
