I could only see beauty on a windblown rainy beach ......but then again I am an optimist

Have you ever noticed how much conversation there is about the weather. It must be the most popular topic there is. Chats often start with openers like, "Isn't it hot? Thank goodness for air conditioning heat ." "Isn't it dry, my grass is brown." "Wish the rain would stop, we have had too much."

Usually there is an undercurrent complaining tone taking place between the two or more people in the conversations. And once both parties receive the emotional acknowledgement and the nods of heads, they 'happily' go on their way feeling good.

It all seems a bit a gloom and doom pessimism to me that people unwittingly keep passing on. Pessimism is very catchy. The only way to stop it in its tracks is add positiveness in the conversations. "We need all the rain we can get to fill the dams." Or 'This is the kind of weather we get in summer so let's enjoy the heat before winter comes along. Only another of couple of months to go." I a glass half-filled kind of person, an optimist who sees a silver lining whenever possible.

it was with my rose coloured glasses on that I saw a unique rugged kind of beauty on my windblown rainy beach at 5pm. The many different blue tones filled the sky and ocean contrasting with the wet sand.







The air was cool, soft rain fell and the sand was firm and easy to walk on. It was glorious and every moment was highly enjoyable. This made for an extra combined #sublimeSunday and #beautifulSunday at the end of busy day. And kept going as I edited my photos to create more photos with different colours - just for fun.







My best fun was playing around with this natural tree sculpture on the sand. To me each filter was really effective. I really like the mono look.







Nature is just amazing. There is always a silver lining in all kinds of weather. But then that depends on whether you are pessimist or an optimist.
