Amazon leading the market in India

Flipkart was established in oct 2007. They started selling online books like amazon and popilarised the idea of buying books from internet in india. Flipkart have more then 33,000 employees working. However Amazon entered indian market in Feb with the help of website called junglee.com. On junglee.com the customer won't buy any product but they used to compare product prices. Despite entering late in market amazon emerged and is making more progress than any online retailer in india.
Return Policy
One of the services which Flipkart lacks and limited to the certain product is return policy. Whereas Amazon most of its products includes the return policy.
But What if you order a product which does not has a return policy?
In case of Flipkart if you order a product and didn't bother to check if the product is returnable policy. For example, if you order an electronic item and when the product is delivered. you will surely check the product if it is working. Suppose the product delivered to you is a faulty item. Then you will have to call a customer care for at least 12 times, that will take around a week. When everything is settled. You will need to return this item first then the new item would dispatch.
But incase of Amazon if you order a product which later found to be defective. The customer care will say "Dispose that product, would you like to order the same product or should I refund the amount?". Just one call and everything is done.

Subscription
Both Amazon and Flipkart has membership subscription Amazon membership is called as Amazon Prime and Flipkart called Flipkart First. Flipkart First is cost at 500Rs and Amazon Prime is costing 999Rs. Flipkart First's membership is limited to WS Retail and Flipkart advantage. The product under this seller only sales electronic items. Whereas for Amazon Prime, users have a wide range of sellers to choose. Flipkart First one day delivery is not supported by some pin code whereas in case of Amazon prime most of the pincode they do. For Amazon, you could boost an order with just a phone call.Amazon Prime gives you to access to prime videos, which is the biggest plus point over Flipkart First.

For cancellation of service
In case of Amazon Prime, you can cancel the service anytime if you're not satisfied with the service. Amazon won't charge you if you didn't use Prime service at all. In case of Flipkart, they will charge the number of months the service was active.

Customer Care
Amazon's customer service is always available 24*7. You can contact customer care using a phone call, email and also with social media(Facebook, Twitter). While Flipkart lacks, to solve an issue they take a longer time(more than a week).
For all the above reason Amazon rules over the e-commerce market and it's time for Flipkart to gear up and use customer-centric approach.
