Will it make a difference in reality? only time will tell. I also don't know how the "right to be forgotten" can be compatible with block-chain based systems. Once your data or your work is in there, it really is difficult to impossible to remove past data. So I've been told anyway. Correct me if I'm wrong. That's the whole point. You can't easily be censored.

Yes, when something is put on a Blockchain, it is not supposed to be able to be changed in the future. However, just because technology can do something, it doesn't mean that governments will allow tech to break laws. This is where some interesting battles are shaping up between governments and decentralized systems.

I guess that's true. If you cant fight the block-chain, outlaw it. I think China outlawed bitcoin if I remember right. Though I think it was because it offered a way to get around regulations with their economey. They couldn't control bitcoin like they could their own currency. Hard to tax what you don't control. It's been a while since I payed attention to this kind of stuff. Please forgive my ignorance. :)
