Overview of Pretty Merch Chrome Extension for Amazon Merch

So last night I finally decided to give Pretty Merch a try. Pretty Merch is one of the most downloaded and most used Chrome Extensions on the market for Amazon Merch.

I'll be honest I was hesitant to use it because I'm very cautious of what extensions and plugins I allow on my computer. As someone involved in cryptocurrency you have to really protect your machine and be careful about what you install and download and extensions can do malicious things.

That said what made me use it was I saw an interview on MerchMinds last night with Harrison the creator of Pretty Merch. Yong actually addressed this concern with Harrison kind of making fun of tinfoil hat theorists like myself who are worried about things like that.

Harrison said they don't have any servers, no data is reported back. That said he did correct Yong and say with extensions you are installing foreign code on your computer and extensions can do malicious things and said that is a legitimate concern.

That said the extension has a lot of downloads and users and I'm assuming/trusting at this point that someone has examined the code and made sure nothing is reporting back.

Pretty Merch comes in a free version and a paid version, the paid version just gives you access to a bit more data.

You still retain your traditional merch dashboard but have an additional tab which makes all your Amazon Merch sales data much more digestible. You can easily see your tier, how many shirts you have uploaded, how many shirts in review, rejected, etc.

You also see a bar graph of your weeks sales, past day, past week, and past month. Your also shown a nice breakdown of your shirt sales and whether the sales were mens, womens or kids as well as the color selected.

It's interesting to see that by far the vast majority of shirts I sell are black, followed by heather colors ie heather blue and dark heather. That makes up well over 90% of my sales with the rest being a mix of green, pink, army green, and maybe a red or blue mixed in.

I imagine a lot of you guys have probably already tried this extension or are even currently using it but I hadn't tried it, wanted to give it a try and figured I'd make a video incase any of you havn't seen it or weren't aware of it.

Are any of you using Pretty Merch? If so drop a comment and let me know your thoughts or if there's any tools or info I neglected to mention. Also, are there any other apps your curious about or would like to see reviewed? Drop a comment and let me know.
