Amber Laura Heard (born April 22, 1986) is an American film and television actress. After a series of small roles, Heard had her first starring role in the 2006 horror film All the Boys Love Mandy Lane. She first gained mainstream recognition for supporting roles in the films Never Back Down and Pineapple Express. Since then, she has gone on to star in movies such as The Rum Diary, Pineapple Express, The Informers, The Stepfather, Zombieland, and Paranoia.

Amber Laura Heard was born on April 22, 1986, in Austin, Texas. She moved to Los Angeles with her mother when she was 19 years old and signed with a talent agency. In 2004, she appeared in small roles on two episodes of The Guardian and CSI: Miami. She also had a brief role in Lords of Dogtown (2005) before landing her first starring role opposite Kristen Bell in All The Boys Love Mandy Lane (2006).
