Seek Jesus: Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves

Jesus invites us to live according to the law of love, tells us the gospel, and this love is way, truth, and life (John 14:6). And when this love acts in us, we expand the life and well-being to others through the small acts of mercy (compassion, kindness, gentleness) of everyday life, because our neighbor matters. We live in a progressive, expansive universe that makes possible the existence of life and that is governed not only by physical or chemical laws but also by ethical laws. Acting in harmony with everything created by God is essential when we accept the law of the Lord, the love projected to the whole creation of God. And that harmony from the spiritual point of view is the Kingdom of God. That is why Jesus, when he speaks to us about the Kingdom of God, the dominion or empire of God's perfections, tells us that the Kingdom of God is like the seed that sprouts, develops, and bears fruit.
The Kingdom of God is a wonderful demand, that fills our hearts with happiness and joy: "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God" Matthew 5:8. And this, as Paul explains in his epistle to the Philippians, is to live in our relationship with our brothers according to the mentality of Christ: "In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus" Philippians 2:5.
If we seek to feed only our own selfishness at the expense of others, constructing walls, we are not building or increasing life and well-being, in all our actions we must take into account not only our own needs but also that of others, this is what Jesus explains to us; and Paul following the reasoning of Christ explains this spiritual truth in this way:
"Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others" Philippians 2:3-4.
