When you travel, there are a couple of things you should know. First, never miss out the good food, second never miss the highest points in the city where you have the amazing view,
third never miss out cultural institutions, fourth never miss out an attraction that represents the city you are visiting… all these things are important when you travel,
especially when you are touring around the city.
When you are wondering where to travel next, what is your next destination, always remember one thing, choose cities that have so much to offer.
Choose cities that have a good vibe. Choose cities that you will fall in love with. Choose Venezuela. Why? Because there is this amazing city, Maracaibo,
which will be one of your best vacations ever. It has all you need.
You will be thrilled with the attractions in this city. You will feel the Venezuelan vibe and spirit. That is why this city is so unique.

One of the things you should visit is Teatro Baralt or Theater Baralt. It is an important Venezuelan cultural institution. History of this theater starts from the 19th century.
It is located in the downtown of Maracaibo, it is on the north-western corner of Plaza Bolivar, in the street Calle 95,

The construction began in 1839, and it was donated by Don Miguel Antonio Baralt, he has the son of the founder of lineage in Venezuela.
The first structure as the Baralt Theater was between 1840 and 1970 when don Miguel temporarily built a stage for theatrical performances.
And since then, this place was used for theatrical performances, which was in the early part of the 19th century. Later in 1877, general Rafael Parra ordered the demolition of the old theater and the new construction began. The new building was in a neo-classical style. This attraction has its own history,
history of change and in honor of don Miguel’s son. The history that is important to Maracaibo’s culture. In 1981, Baralt Theater joined the list of Venezuela’s National Monuments,
which was in the process of becoming a World Heritage Site.
