Plaza de Toros Monumental de Valencia is a large bull ring of Valencia and is located at Valencia 2001, Carabobo, Venezuela. It is mostly open at all hours, but there is no point in visiting it unless there is some event going on. It is used explicitly for, but it is also used for activities like fairs and concerts this bull ring is the 2nd largest bull ring the world (exceeding the size of Mexico city) the 1st largest is Plaza de Toros in Mexico which is the hub of bullfighting. Plaza de Toros Monumental de Valencia can hold up to 25,000 people in itself and was built in 1968. The Plaza is a multifaceted area; its arena is not limited to bull fightings; instead, it also provides a perfect venue for theatrical works and other diverse range of occasions. A lot of famous bullfighters have fought in this arena, namely: Adolfo Rojas, Paco Camino, Antonio Bienvenida, Antonio Ordonez, etc. but after its initial years the bullring suffered, but in 1997 it was revived as not only a bullring but also as a sporting, religious, cultural and bullfighting events. This ring is such a famous tourist destination of Valencia that it has its metro station. The Plaza de Toros Monumental de Valencia is a part of the south recreational complex and is also an open air, Fair Park. The events held here are in honor of the patron of this city Señora Virgen Del Socorro whose image is also posted in various areas of this venue. A lot of famous musicians have conducted concerts here like Simón Díaz, Soledad Bravo, Juan Luís Guerra, The Teenagers, Juanes, and many others have made their fans happy with exquisite music in this arena. This bullring is rated on the 46th number out of 255 things to do in Valencia. This is a symbolic place which is full of passion and beauty, and it has been declared as a national artistic, historical monument and a bullfighting museum.
