TV SHOW REVIEW // Breaking Bad

Breaking Bad is the story of a high school chemistry teacher, Walter White, who is diagnosed with lung cancer. After being hit with the news, he realizes his teaching job and his 2nd job at a car wash, won't be enough for his upcoming medical bills. So, he teams up with an ex-student of his, Jesse Pinkman, and manufactures methamphetmine in order to afford his medical bills as well as secure a future for his family.

This show aired on AMC from 2008-2013 for 5 seasons. 45 minute episodes.

This is hands down one of the greatest TV Shows that I have ever seen. Without a doubt. The story is very believable. This in fact, could happen to anybody. Seeing an innocent, father and teacher turn into one of the regions most feared criminals, is just incredible within itself. When people are at their last stand, there's really no telling what they'll do to survive. Especially when they have a family to take care of. One thing I found very interesting was the relationship between Walter and Jesse. They're very up and down when it comes to each other. You can't tell how they really feel about each other at times. Even when you think you've got it figured out, it suddenly changes again. It all started with those 2. And it'll end with those 2.

Another thing I really enjoyed about this show is its shock factor. It has incredible twists throughout the story. Unexpected deaths and life or death decision making. The suspense will leave you constantly wondering. One of my favorite characters was Mike. The old bad ass dude. Way more of a threat than he perceives to be to everyone else. Mike isn't somebody you want to fuck with. He's on some, I see you but you don't see me kind of shit. Very well written, phenomenal acting and long enough episodes to keep you busy. Give it a watch!
