AMD Releases New Software For Crypto Mining.

in amd •  7 years ago

The Company that makes graphics cards, AMD, is coming out with a new software geared specifically for crypto mining.

As detailed on its website, the "Radeon Software Crimson ReLive Edition Beta for Blockchain Compute" is described as a beta-level driver aimed at improving the performance of GPUs used for mining, the process by which new transactions are added to a blockchain, creating new tokens as a reward along the way. This could be the future to mining crypto, you may never know. Hopefully, the mining software isn't buggy, because if so, it would be a waste.

AMD's release comes amid a period of growing demand for GPUs, which is being driven by elevated prices in markets for cryptos like ether, the native currency on the Ethereum blockchain.

Cryptocurrency has been booming recently as well as crypto mining and I really do believe crypto could be the new mainstream currency of the United States or even the world for that matter. I think crypto has a bright future ahead of it and if you don't learn about it or get into it now, you will be lost in the future when it becomes mainstream. So, my best suggestion would be to get into cryptos and get familiar with the topic.

Interesting, I wonder how much it'll improve performance by and whether it would make it worth it for more people to mine.

Very cool. Might have to start mining again.

Mining is a slow process, I have done some reading on it and it will take a while to get your investment back from it. You will have to upgrade fairly quick and that means more cash every year or so. I have a friend that started mining and he spent 3000.00 in a flash of an eye and the power bill will be getting bigger and bigger.
