In a crisis, add water, and instant "experts" will pop up on every side.
What does this Continetti, with his BA in history from Columbia, it seems, know about the world that he thinks the world needs his opinion? What is his expertise in Russia or Ukraine or China?
"In the end, it will be American will and American might that guarantee international security in Europe, East Asia, and the Greater Middle East."
What nonsense. America, with it's 340 million people, due soon to be surpassed by China with its 1.4 billion in GDP, is the one necessary Globo-cop? That way of thinking belongs to the 1950s, not to the 21st Century.
We can do no such thing. We cannot stop Russia from swallowing Ukraine, without starting a world war. We can't stop China from swallowing Taiwan. We certainly can't "guarantee security" for the whole friggin planet.
For "America," substitute "God," and get on your knees. But again, India may also come in handy, long-term, if it gets its act together.
