US President Donald Trump has decided to re-activate the Guantanamo Bay prison.

US President Donald Trump announced the re-activation of Guantanamo Bay prison in his first State of the Union address, he said that he has signed an executive order for re-activating the Guantanamo Bay Prison and he ordered the US Defense Minister James Mathew to re-open the prison.

Trump said that he is fulfilling another promise by re-establishing the Guantanamo Bay prison in Cuba, and it was very foolish to liberate hundreds of dangerous terrorists, including ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghadi in the past. These terrorists freed and today they are ready to compete with us.

The US President said terrorists are not just criminals but they are warrior enemies, so we should treat them as terrorist after taking them in arrest. He has told the Congress to provide them with all the strength in the fight against terrorists so that terrorists can be detained wherever they are to put in Guantanamo Bay after arrest.

Keep in mind that former US President George Bush established Guantanamo Bay prison in 2002 in Cuba and 779 prisoners were kept there, while former President Barack Obama had sent hundreds of prisoners in other prisons and some prisoners were freed, but he himself had failed to completely close the prison in his government and by September 2017 there were 41 prisoners in Guantanamo Bay. Trump promised during his presidential campaign that he would fill the jail with terrorists.
