With just over 24 hours to go and no symphonic arrangement of the American anthem to be found in Bangkok, the Sinfonietta's conductor Somtow Sucharitkul decided to create his own version, a kind of mini-tone poem inspired by the images in the lyrics.
This was premiered a couple of years ago and you can see the U.S. Ambassador in the audience.
