What Price FREEDOM?

Enlighten me what was the American Revolution fo, pleaser. Wasn't the price of our freedom of self detemination a life/many lives? Obviously you have to choose for yourself, but for me, here's my line. Not only did those Patriots die so I could enjoy living free, so many others died to protect that right for me. Certainly it is up to me to be prepared to die for Liberty, which is the True Nature of my Soul/my being as it is yours. Where's your line?
