Road to American Ninja Warrior - Day 114

G'Day mates!

Had a much more productive day today... mainly because I decided I needed to.

Smashed out my run with my new trail runners pretty quickly. I'm still walking the last bit, but man it is a crazy decent hill at the end. I'm going to be so super mega pumped when I make it the whole way without walking.... and then I'll be the best runner in the world/street!

Finally talked myself into smashing out some yoga as well... still annoyingly uncomfortable, but I can tick that off.

Then, the smashing continued with 5 hill sprints... even with pretty tight Achilles... I'll feel that tomoz!

Finally, I was also able to tick slacklining off the list... which means for the first time all week, I've got a full day ticked off. I did all my things! Now I'll smash this post, and go play on a couch with a girl and do some relaxes... until tomorrow when I might try and build a raised veggie box... with this adulting never end?



Honestly, ticking off everything for the day is such a good feeling... even if I wanted to do almost none of it.




Cardio

  • 28 minutes run



Slacklining and balance work

  • 15 minutes



Hill sprints

  • 5 of the jerks



Yoga

  • 30 minutes - P90X3



Lower back again, I think I'm going to need to do all the stretching and rollering tomorrow.

  • Cardio - 100 reps
  • 30 minute yoga - 50 reps
  • Hill sprints - 5 reps

I got back to the gym for the first time today. I didn't do a lot of smashing, and I have sadly lost a lot of my progress, but I still did it! Your posts keep me pumped and ready to roll, so, thank you for that!

You in Portland? And huge fan of Ninja Warrior even back to the early days. And congrats! I'd love to come visit and see how much work is have to do. But love it. If that had been an option for me at 18 I'd have been in heaven!

And love the fitness goals. Just had @aresheir get back to Portland and we just did some martial arts videos. Amazing day in Portland today!
