I like my Monday training...
Mentally it's not too hard, it's nothing like the grind that I have on Tuesdays or Thursdays, and I know it's not going to break me down like the class on Wednesdays... but my Monday session is also a way for me to check in and see where I'm at.

I think what I normally do is to my little AWNE trial test, and then tackle hill sprints afterwards. I was so tired from my weekend though, that I did my hill sprints at lunchtime... which went really, really well... possibly my best attempt at them so far.. and then after work I took on my trial... and just didn't really have the legs for it.

My endurance and cardio has gotten so much better in the last 2 weeks, it's really exciting to feel that progress. Instead of wanting to throw up during hill sprints, I merely felt completely exhausted.... so that's really exciting!

I think my brain was broken during my 400m sprint. I just didn't have the sense of urgency that I usually have... and my time reflects that. I think next week I'll do my trial before anything else and see how that goes.

Feeling better about the dead hang... it truly is just a matter of time spent with that guy.

For the Run Club thing... we're thinking of a weekly post where I will set a target for both runners and cyclists (maybe we should call it KmsKlub or something... and people can comment that they're in, and then add a link to their own post regarding their efforts for that week.

It's an evolving idea... but there are a couple of people interested in fleshing it out a little.
If you have any ideas or thoughts about it.. let me know.

Maybe, ah, don't do exhausting things before you test yourself... just in case, y'know you do happen to wreak yourself.

So I'm kind of looking at the stuff you do, and thinking of the stuff that "everyone else" does, and trying to decide if it's a good idea for you to be setting targets for everyone else XD

Yay for progress :D

A belated happy Monday dude, glad you have a nice steady Monday to get into a new week, maybe that's a tactic I need to employ! Definitely up for the run/bike club!

Top effort mate 💪 and inspiring to see your commitment as always.

Haha lmao, I love that gif. That is exactly how I am when I go to the gym on a Monday. Or as I like to call it, Muppet Monday because every Muppet is trying to work off the weekend indulgence
