I think Amherst has reported that RD decision date will be in late March. I saw on a site separate from Amherst’s site that the date is 29 March. Also, applications at some “highly rated” colleges/universities are way up this year. This may be related to those schools going test-optional. Even without covid-19 limiting office productivity (distancing, work-at-home, wear mask, etc.) the higher number of applications would naturally extend the decision date out beyond what was honored in previous years.
