After seeing the malfunctioning of so many rides at amusement parks over the years, I will probably never get on any of those rides. As unbelievable as it may be, I have never been on a rollercoaster or any of the other types of rides that throw you up in the air and swing you around. The only amusement park rides I've ever been on are the Bumper Cars, the Carousel, the Train and the Tilt-A-Whirl (and the Tilt-A-Whirl made me dizzy and gave me a headache).
Just a couple of weeks ago, there was yet another ride that malfunctioned at an amusement park and flung people out of it while it was in mid air. A couple of those people died that day, and some were severely injured. It was horrifying to see all of those people come crashing down to the ground like that.
Those wild rides may be fun to some people, but the possibility of them breaking down just makes getting on them not worth it to me.
