Here we are one day until the biggest turkey feast in America.
I just got my casserole assembled, corn seasoned, dressing mixed and potatoes in the pressure cooker. Of course, I have a small confession. Last week in a desperate push I vacuum sealed my potatoes. Not the best idea ever. All I have to do is mash them and season them.
Later this evening I will brine my bird until morning and let her cook for an hour and a half at 400. At the last half hour, I will put everything in the oven to warm up.
I am looking forward to this day but hopefully next year we will be in a house and able to do a bigger deal. Music set the WII up for the kids, and just be surrounded by people I want in my life.
