Tethered to technology? Go Analogue!

  1. You and a moleskine book - your most valuable book
  2. A proper pen with ink that flows from a nib - ideally a fountain pen
  3. Phone switched off
  4. Getting up and walking around - lots
  5. Breathing (properly) - lots
  6. No keyboard to type. Putting your hands in the soil - planting something instead
  7. Speaking to people. Face to face (in the flesh - not web conferencing)
  8. Laughter around hot drinks
  9. Music playing. Feet tapping.
  10. Crackle of wood in a fire
  11. Wifi off
  12. 4G? (No phone to worry about)
  13. Eating food unplugged. No tech at the table.
  14. Sitting in front of the fire with a good book in the evening - no TV allowed
  15. Reading by candle-light
  16. Sleeping by moonlight
You can't unwire 200,000 years of evolution in 200 years
Do your best to go analogue as often as possible.

Good in theory, however here in Florida I have yet to find a hippie outdoors community to live off the grid with, and zero of the people in my circle are like-minded. :(

Haha, me neither. The idea is more to intersperse these analogue moments into your otherwise tech filled days!

That sounds really good and a good way to go and think.

Yep, sometimes we just need to remind ourselves to go back to basics
