Anambra State Government Launches a Monthly Mentoring Program for the Youths

For any human wishing to develop aright or just starting out, finding the right mentor is very important. Mentors provide valuable career advice, help with life transitions, and open doors to new networks.
Last week, Anambra State Government through the Ministry of Youth Empowerment and Creative Economy launched monthly mentorship program to connect Anambra Youths with successful leaders, great thinkers and captains of industry.
The mentoring program tagged "Mentoring Moment" being hosted by Engr Ifeanyi ANIAGOH, the Senior Special Assistant to Gov Willie Obiano on Youth Development and Digital Entrepreneurship, aims at challenging the Anambra Youths, to set and achieve realistic, life goals.
On Thursday, July 12, Engr Aniagoh hosted the maiden Mentoring Moment at Stanel World Awka, where select 1000 Anambra Youths met the July Mentor of the Month in an awe inspiring session to get to know each other and experience a sensational mentorship relationship.
The mentor, Dr Stanley Uzochukwu, the CEO of Stanel World, is a native of Nnewi South Local Government Area of Anambra State and a graduate of University of Jos. With his company incorporated in 2012, Dr Stanley currently employs over 4000 persons in his facilities spread across Awka, Jos and Suleja.
Just recently, the business magnate and philanthropist won the Forbes 2017 African Achievers Award for his outstanding achievements in the areas of job creation, reaching out to widows, orphans, Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), Prison inmates and people with disabilities. Dr Stanley has also being awarded for his contribution to child education in Nigeria.
During the mentoring session, Dr Stanley shared his life story and secrets behind his success. In him, the mentees saw a leader, a destiny helper, a worshipper of Almighty Father, and a kingdom giant.
The Mentoring Moment continues next month with Dr Ifeanyi Ubah, the CEO of Capital Oil. Meanwhile, Dr Tony Elumelu, Founder of Tony Elumelu Foudantion; Linda Ikeji, Nigeria's most celebrated blogger; Barr Allen Onyema, CEO of Air Peace; and many others, are billed to mentor in subsequent months.
Every month, 1000 Anambra Youths will have the rare privilege of sitting with a Mentor who shall guide them through the path to greatness by sharing his or her life experience and success stories.
Each Mentoring Moment is free but strictly by invitation.
