You are Quebecers, you teach in Montreal so :
anarchism that was virtually unknown in Quebec twenty years ago is a movement that must be reckoned with today. The group of students that has been in the forefront is called the CLASS. This group practices direct democracy and it is profoundly libertarian: we do not delegate our power. This is what anarcho-syndicalists do. And in Quebec City, the government was very upset. He did not understand that it took time, he did not understand that his interlayer was only spokespersons. We also see all this in movements like Occupy Wall Street.

Direct democracy isn't anarchism. There's no guarantee against infringement against individual rights, and unless it is 100% voluntary, it's functionally no better than the government they're fighting against. In many ways, direct democracy is more oppressive than a constitutional democracy or republic.
