Comply or Die: The Original Hate Speech

in anarchism •  8 years ago

If I point a gun at you and threaten to shoot you if you don't give me your property, that is wrong.

If I threaten to kidnap and imprison you at gunpoint for not continuing to give me your property at regular intervals, that is also wrong.

If I use the money I steal from anyone in this manner to build a cage, hire guards to protect it, and throw anyone who doesn't surrender their property into the cage, that is also wrong.

If I use my guns and cages to threaten people into only accepting and using my home-made Jerry Money that I print out of thin air, circulate as a loan at interest and exclusively control the interest rates on, that is also wrong.

If I use my guns and cages to threaten people into paying me tribute whenever they acquire my home-made Jerry Money, that is also wrong.

If I use my guns and cages to force parents-to-be to pledge their unborn babies to the bond market so I can continue to sustain my coercively created monopoly on the circulation of currency, that is also wrong.

I don't have the authority to do any of these things. No individual does.

So how do individuals delegate powers they don't have to other individuals?

Maybe there would be a lot less violence in the world if people got as upset over the lack of an answer to the question above as they do over political incorrectness and so-called "hate speech".

The alleged hatefulness of insensitive comments made by anyone about any topic pale in comparison to the fact that statists are literally advocating theft at gunpoint for every single one of their lofty, misguided, utopian goals. There's nothing that can be said that demonstrates as much hate as the initiation of physical force against someone else's body or property without their consent.

'Hate Speech" straight out of 1984 - I re-read this book recently ( read it 30+ years ago) and wow it made me stop and think about todays world and the correlation he wrote then to how it is now..pretty scary!

We've even got the smart TV's that can be used to spy on us. Yee haw. Thanks, NSA.

I know, I thought that straight away when i was reading the book - had to be always in THEIR VIEW!!!! BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING YOU

Very well written! This is accurate in so many different places around the world!

So true. Anarchism isn't just about building a new, free, peaceful society. It is about stopping the hate.
