The "Logic" of Modern Society (and of all Statist Societies Past)

Society:

"It is wrong to hit." It is okay to blow people up in war if we disagree.
"Stealing is wrong." It's okay for the government to take your money by force.
"Think for yourself." Pledge allegiance to a flag.
"Share." Unless it is food for homeless people.
"Stay healthy." Don't use medicine we don't approve. Go to jail.
"Love your neighbor." Report your neighbor.
"Be yourself." Unless that includes not wanting to go to war.
"Be educated." Unless that includes research from a non-CDC website.
"Be free." As long as you do everything we say, or we will kill you.

This is a joke. A sick joke. And should no longer be taken seriously by thinking individuals.

It starts at home. Violent authoritarianism is learned at home, and it frames the world in terms of the might makes right philosophy. From there, schools teach civic virtue as obeying the state and being a law-abiding citizen rather than doing what is right.

That Golden Rule about treating others how you would want to be treated? Apparently that only qualifies for toddlers who don't understand it. The government is certainly exempt in the minds of the brainwashed masses.

I just read a post that criticized Larken's new post and the author totally ignored the fact that if "we vote for something" there are many of those who don't agree. And that's the biggest problem. Somehow "we" became more important than "me". Morally, that is by definition a broken system. The religion of statism is the biggest invisible factor in world. But who cares, as long as they show their stickers and argue who will rule over them. The truth is, voting is a game where everyone loses. How can we show them there is a better way to live is still unknown to me. I think we should probably focus on showing the cult members everything in their life that makes it worth living has nothing to do with their dear rulers.
