I had a similar experience (though not at this level) with Amazon stock. All we can do at this point is learn from the past. I only realized recently what I should have done. If I was going to sell, sell off as much to get my money back. In your case, you could have sold $1500 worth and then held the rest. If they ever went to zero, you still didn't loose your $1500. I look at it as an example of diversification implemented. Diversification is a big deal in investing, I've learned.
