Words from Barret Brown...listen up!

Tomorrow, I'll be addressing the Pirate Parties International General Assembly via pre-recorded video, announcing our partnership with PPI and national and regional parties in Europe and elsewhere.
In addition to the 1300 individuals who've signed up to participate in the Pursuance System thus far, we've also brought on board some other organizations who'll be using our framework to better organize their activities and to recruit participants for new projects. These range from journalistic outfits who'll be using it for crowd-sourced research to small political advocacy organizations seeking to expand rapidly without committing time and resources to traditional organizing.
If you know of a non-profit, NGO, or informal online movement that might be interested in trying something different within an online framework that allows for vastly expanded collaboration as well as independence, please leave its name and other info in the comments. If you're in contact with one, or involved yourself, please direct the relevant parties to pursuanceproject.org and have them contact us. User testing is beginning this week, and we'll be populating the system in earnest early next year.
Participation is free, and we have people in place to help organizations set up a pursuance particular to their needs and to assist in expanding it over time. The only requirement to join is a basic dedication to the open society, which we define as opposition to the police state, surveillance state, and drug war, which users may interpret however they like.
