Just for the record, I was a member of the Libertarian Party for several years. At some point, I dropped my Libertarian membership, and went Independent. Today I am a registered Republican, but still hold Libertarian views with a touch of Anarchist ideals mixed into it, which means that I am Republican in name only (RINO). I do side with Democrats on certain issues, and side with Republicans on certain issues. I don't have much trust nor faith in government, though I do not wish to dissolve government in its entirety as long as it can be funded through alternative ways that do not include the theft or robbery of its citizens, does not attempt to enslave its citizens, supports freedoms and/or liberties of its citizens to the highest degree possible, protects its borders from outside invasion while promoting peace within its borders, and strives to stay out of its citizens' lives by creating & enforcing as few laws as humanly possible. Can any government uphold this sort of ideal? I think not.
Where I'm at today.
