What is anarchy?

in anarchy •  8 years ago

Anarchy comes in many different forms. The most popular form now is " anarchist capitalism " much like bitcoin and altcoins. However, blockchains like this are not capitalist (although the perfect ideals are the same) capitalism (as defined by one of the first non/anti capitalists Karl Marx) is private ownership of the means of production. Which goes against the meaning of anarchy while blockchain technology arguably does not.

The second and third most popular forms are communism and mutualism respectively. Anarchist communism is the left most ideology. Anarchist communism believes in the workers owning the means of production and from working gain the full amount of the resources produced or the equivalent in any form. Mutualists believe in the free market as well as a collective ownership of the means of production (sometimes refereed to as market socialism).

Mutualism is the most centrist ideology while communism and capitalism are the most left and right respectively.
