Sup! As I promised, I publish new article about the anarchism.
And today I propose to talk about:
- what is anarchy
- what difference between anarchy and anarchism
- more details about the anarchy as concept
Anarchy. What is it?
I'm sure, your parents were telling you that anarchy is a chaos. They were right so. But anarchy isn't only chaos. And at the now I explain you why.
I would begin from that what is the chaos. Our environment is chaotic too but we can predict it. The most obviously example is the Brownian motion. Particles in the fluids moves absolutely random. Although that if you would take a pair of connected vessels the fluid would starting moves from the full container to empty. It is really can to predict. But this process has chaotic kind. This is just simple analogy which need to show you that mean of the chaos by simple language. And why "chaotic" order sometimes is would be more effective.
Anarchy is method of organisation the society that mean absolute lack of any kind of control and exploit people by others. It is imply that social and economic relationships create only by free will. Individuals would decide by themselves that when and how create, support or destroy relations with each other.
Fine, now we sorted out this. So what is about the anarchism? Anarchism is a political philosophy which based on the freedom principle. Anarchists set a goal to themselves that demolish all kind of forcing of one person by another person. Anarchism is a concept about the world which constructed by the cooperate but not the violence. Actually the society which based on the force that is one of the worst variant to develop our civilization. As an alternative, we have the model that is proposes by anarchists that based on anarchical kind of organisation rather than hierarchical. In fact, it signify the next: abolition current social institutes, liquidation private and corporate property. dissolution the government forever. Instead these people would organise new social and economic facilities which created by mutual aid, non-violence, consensus and voluntary work.
Do you know difference now? Even among humans who identify themselves as anarchists many such who equate these terms to each other. For example, there are infamous anarcho-capitalists who although using ANARCHICAL model BUT ignore ANARCHISTS principles such as abandon private and corporative property. More details about them you can find in the post by @freebornangel.
So, what the problem? Why people don't make a difference between the anarchy and anarchism? Because they can not understand that the terms are located in absolutely various categories. The series is designed to find out them distinction. About anarchism I will write in the next post. And now I suggest talking about the anarchy.
The easiest way to describe it if I resort to the analogy again. You may don't believe but everyday we having to use anarchical-based things many times. For example it is the Internet. Not all, of course. I meant the part which works only on peer-to-peer architecture. But this is already a big part of our cyberspace. Especially it is visible with the grew interest to the blockchain technology in last time. Yes, the mostly blockchains and cryptocurrencies have the anarchical basics. They are decentralized, have datas which open for everyone, confirming the transactions are made by the volunteers without any pressure from above. Users defines themselves the value of cryptocurrencies and adding emission. They can edit source code and create own similar projects. These networks have full transparency for everyone, so even if someone would behaves unworthily and try to fool somebody, the cheat is obvious for every participant of the network. But even if the faker gained profits, not every user would want to repeat the act. Because all have the known that the similar tricks could destroy the network that would not be benefit facility anymore. In fact, altruistic behavior is ever better for every individual than selfish.
If talk about the blockchain and anarchical structure of society I should note to the steemit. Steemit is a social network that could be called quite an anarchical. The steemians can choose the useful activities that want to do. By upvoting the humans take a responsibility for the quality of content. By leaving a comments and replies they provide a feedback. By posting an articles authors create the content which is actually core value of steemit (not the steem's currencies as many could think). Miners create the equivalent for cost of content. Curators distribute that. Authors take it as equil the value of their product. And all get the rewards for their work. I will not to tired to repeat that this all is absolutely voluntarily.
BUT when I say that something ANARCHICAL, it's not mean that this is ANARCHISTIC. The steemit or bitcoin or something similar are nothing in common with ANARCHISM. But these are great examples that are confirm of the ANARCHICAL model working.
