The mess of today is a consequence of crony capitalism, not free markets, and that is why there needs to be a distinction in terms. But in the English-speaking world, both ideas are still called "capitalism," and that is why ancaps use that term. but to say they favor the political interventions and bear responsibility for its failures is intellectual dishonesty.

You know, I just wrote a post on health care in America a week ago. Perhaps a discussion on health care is a better fit there? I am hardly a friend of the corporate status quo, but I have very serious questions about a government monopoly as a viable alternative, because I am an anarchist.
