I debate people because I love the fight, and it is fun to me. I get excited when debating and I hardly ever stay calm. I say you must get passionate and use emotion to drive home your points. You are hardly ever going to change someone's mind with one debate. They have to come to realizations by themselves after you plant seeds. You have to show them that the ideas you have don't come from a view that is bitter or bland. Make them realize that they need to break from their echo chambers they have on social media.
