Let's talk about the Non Aggression Principle and why it is bullshit

I believe that a society is only as good as it’s parts, those parts being individuals forming said society.

The Non-Aggression Principle, or NAP is designed to enable retaliation and, while this tactic did prove itself as an early working attempt at regulating crime through intimidation by retaliation, it was ultimately self-harming to members of a society and by extension self-defeating for every society in the long run.

Since self-preservation is in the interest of any sane individual, and therefore becomes society’s interest, it is necessary to prevent self-harm.

In order to accomplish this, the NAP and other systems attempting to regulate crime through intimidation by retaliation, must undergo a simple tweak.

By for example using predetermined monetary penalties for crimes every society built on laws of retaliation would begin to generate money while keeping its citizens intact and unharmed.

Removing the vigilant and self-harming nature of the NAP by using fines the society quickly turns its greatest weakness into a strength.

Even better is the fact, that the proposed update can be scaled and allows for community services with the goal of resocialization and therapy rather than retaliation and possible obliteration.

From what I know
The Non-Aggression Principle,

Is not designed.
It is not a tactic.
It is not an attempt at regulating crime through intimidation by retaliation
It is not a system.
It is not about what happens afterward (retaliation, penalty's, therapy or whatever)
It is not a law or rule or statute.
You can't enforce it.
You can't make it into a written law.
Or a contract that everybody signs.
You can't make it a right or a command.
You can't enforce it.

It's a principle.
It's about self-defence.
It's not initially about a solution to stop or prevent crime or about punishment or therapy or whatever come's afterward.

This is what I understand about it.
For the difference between a principle and a law, you could read.
