Sure it can be controlled by a small elite. The whole system is based on hierarchy. And the only thing preventing hordes of millions entering and looting europe is boarders and boarder controls. If they are being told to stand down completely there would be flooding in tens of millions a year.

Why they are doing it? Marxism. Cultural relativists. I hate that word, but that's what they are. There could be other factors as well. The rise of feminism, sexual emotions, reproductive/biological causes. Just look at the western feminists..how they are repeating false mantras and calling themselves oppressed by western men. At the same time they are advocating mass immigration of primarily men from women hating cultures. How can you explain that? Women often want men to be Dr Hyde and Mr Jekyll. They want men to be strong and tell them what to do - to protect them from the harsh realities of the world. At the same time they wanted the same freedom men had. Now western men won't protect them against the world anymore. A cognitive dissonnanse appears. So they will continue to bash western men and western values over peanuts and false narratives. (We dont earn as much!..which they do, except that they dont chose high paying careers) and western men has become "pussy whipped". The sexual/biological woman don't like that. So now they want new men. Strong, more animalistic men which they can "tame" a little bit. Thats in the nature of women. They want men to prove that the can be savage - because that makes a good protector. But when they have proven their savagery, they want the man to settle down and be nice and hang around. They don't believe in the western mans savagery anymore, and thats why they want to try out other men.
