I have been wandering the wastelands of Facebook, feeling a growing disconnect between myself and the medium of the Zuckerberg, i have been experimenting with blogging on minds, blogger and YouTube, all with limited engagement on my part.

Now i genuinely want to walk away from the book of face in a large way, and generate content in an environment of greater exposure and engagement, which is why i am here.

My name is Tawasi, i am a grandson of the last Chief of the Nooksack Roy George, and also the grandson of a first generation Russian Jewish immigrant, my grandfather was an air force veteran, he became a doctor.

I was raised in Texas on a hippie commune for fifteen years, then began traveling the country working at renaissance festivals, eventually "settling" in oregon ii have been a lifelong activist, i have marched to raise awareness of the AIDS epidemic, marched for farm workers rights, marched against nukes and against wars and in favor of 911 truth, i was with occupy wall street, i support the fact that no human is illegal, and want more awareness of the crisis of neglect by law enforcement where missing and murdered women are concerned, i believe we need an end to corporatist prisons, and for profit wars, we need radical change, and i believe we have it.
