Dayah Nurul Islam is an integrated Dayah in Meurah Mulia District, North Aceh District ..

This Dayah is located on Irrigation Street, Rayeuk Matang Village, Meurah Mulia Subdistrict and is an integrated Dayah which is also under the Nurul Islam foundation.

Currently there are around 300 male and female santri in Dayah Nurul Islam and the majority of them are orphans that gets the freedom of fees from the foundation..

Various supporting facilities for learning and teaching are also found in the Dayah Nurul Islam complex, ranging from two-story dormitories of three, one-story dormitories of three, public kitchens, 4 baths, 10 learning classes and so on, including a presence old mosque inside the dayah complex.

The mosque, which was built around the 1920s, has a very unique shape with ancient architectural styles. and this mosque has just been renovated and beautified with a variety of additional buildings such as tiled floors, mosque domes, attics and decorative lights which further enhance the mosque's condition, but this renovation certainly does not eliminate the foundation of the mosque building which has been built since before Indonesia achieved its independence.

Although the mosque is located in the dayah complex, it does not mean that this mosque is a place for all students to pray five times a day, because this mosque is only used by male students when praying in congregation ... while female students still rely on mushalla in their own complex as a place to pray five times a day.

This is certainly done at the consideration of the Nurul Islam foundation to avoid interfering between men and women in one place.
