Not always the files we store on Android will continue to be there, sometimes we need to delete some files, photos, or videos that we feel are not too important. But sometimes we regret deleting a file and want to restore the deleted file.
You need to know that in general, storage on a smart phone has 3 types, namely internal memory, external memory and sim card.
In addition to deliberate factors, delete photos, data, messages, and contacts. There are other factors that can cause android files to be deleted like the root of an Android device, flashing, returning to factory settings, or a damaged Android device.
But take it easy! Because Caraku has provided a way for deleted files to return. You can choose several ways because we provide more than one method. There are those without root, without software, or using software and application help.
- DiskDigger application
The first way to restore deleted files without using a PC is with the help of the DiskDigger application. Unfortunately this method can only be done on Android that has been rooted. For that, if your Android isn't rooted, just go to the 4th method.
Steps to restore deleted files:
Download the DiskDigger application in Playstore and install it on the device.
Allow when prompted to access the root.
There will be an "upgrade to pro" warning, just ignore it by selecting "no thanks" if you don't want to upgrade.
Look for the folder containing the file that you want to restore. Whether it's in internal or external memory.
Specify the format and press OK.
DiskDigger will scan files that can be returned.
Select file.
Then Save and finish.
- Undeleter Recover Files and Data
The first condition of using this application is the same as the first method above, that is, Android must be rooted. This application is shared free of charge, but the free version can only restore files such as photos, sms, and txt. For the use of full features we need to buy it.
Steps to restore deleted photos on android:
Download and install the Undeleter application recover files and data in Google Playstore then open the application.
When there is a root access request, allow it.
Select the Restore File / Restore Data button.
Then look for the location of the file, whether on internal or external storage.
There will be 2 scan options, namely Journal Scan and Deep Scan.
Journal scan: will scan all deleted files including photos, videos and sms.
Deep scan: we can determine for ourselves a reasonable file to restore.
When you have selected, press the scan button at the bottom.
Wait until the file starts to appear. Observe which files or photos will be returned.
When you have found it, press the icon in the upper right corner to save it.
- Photo Recovery Applications
Many developers are great at creating applications, one of the useful applications is the photo return application. Like the previous two ways, this method can be used when the device has rooted. If you haven't rooted, just skip this step.
