IFTTT and Steemit!! Oh the possiblities!

I am not a coder by any means and the closest I get is with IFTTT. IFTTT stands for If This Then That and it allows you to chain basic functions together between apps on your computer, phone, across certain accounts and so on. The list goes on. The first thing I used it for was to get a push notification on my phone anytime the QSC K8 Speakers I was looking for dipped below a certain price on ebay.

A list of the more popular services IFTTT works with is:
Facebook
Dropbox
Google Drive
Instagram
Gmail
iTunes
Reddit
NEST
Android Wear
eBay
Evernote
YouTube
OneDrive
Slack

You can see the list of companies that work with IFTTT in their "see all services" page
here

They also have a ton tools and phone alerts for bitcoin changes as well as various other phone alerts for cryptocurrencies you can set up. Chain, who according to the site is a powerful API that makes it easy to interact with the Bitcoin block chain. There are also a ton of great functions Chain uses to integrate bitcoin prices into your workflow in order to keep you in the loop.

Personally I use Add today's Bitcoin price to Google Calendar

Some of the other notable functions are :

Track daily price of Bitcoin in a Google Spreadsheet
Keep a record of the price of Bitcoin in Evernote.
Post a message to a Slack with Today's Bitcoin price.
Today's Bitcoin Price Sent via Pushbullet
Get an iOS Push Notification of today's Bitcoin Price
