Officially, Xiaomi has released MiUI 9 based on Android Nougat for Redmi Note 4X, Mi4C, Mi5C and MI6 although still Beta ROM version. Unfortunately this Beta version is the official ROM of developer version for Chinese ROM, so you will not get Google Playstore on this ROM.
For Xiaomi users in Indonesia, of course very difficult if there is no Google PlayStore. You can not use the third party applications available on Playstore freely. Many tricks are circulating on the Internet how to install Google Playstore on Xiaomi smartphone, but after the update to Nougat, the trick can not be used anymore. The Google Play Store is in trouble.
Therefore, for those of you Chinese or Xiaomi ROM users of any type who have updated their firmware to Nougat either MIUI 8 or MIUI 9, follow these steps to make Google Play Store work properly.
1. Install Google Play Store With Google Installer 2.0 APK
Before installing the Google Play Store on MIUI 8/9 Nougat, make sure you have enabled Unknown sources before, so that third party applications that are not from Google Playstore can be installed. Then you can download and install the Google APK 2.0 installer.
Automatically, this app will install:
- Google Service Framework;
- Google Account Management;
- Google Play Service;
- Google Calendar Syncronization Service;
- Google Contacts Syncronization Service.
2. Installing Supporting Applications manually
Download the following APK:
- Google Play Service;
- Google Services Framework (Login);
- Google Services Framework;
- Google Contact Syn Adapters;
- Google Play Store Version 7.1;
- Google Contacts.
You can download all above apps on https://www.androidapksbox.com/ and choose the suitable app for your smartphone. After successfully downloaded, install the APK of the downloaded results in sequence, do not do randomly, because Google Play Store will not run normally.
