When it comes to Android smartphone, speed is critical factor, just think about it, we spend a lot time with our smartphones.
Many people spend much more time with smartphone than with PC or any other gadget and when most of your day is dedicated to smartphone use even few seconds delays can waste lots of your time in the end.
Battery is another big problem for modern smartphones, even highest class phones drain in less than a day when used heavily.
But don't worry! Here are some great tricks that will save you time and battery! Plus improved performance for slower devices.
Uninstall bad apps
Some apps do more harm than good.
Do you have anything like Clean Master or Battery Doctor? Any apps that promises you to increase battery life or optimize, cleanup your device? Well, it's nice time to remove them.
Such apps stick in random access memory(RAM) and use more resources than they free.
Also, Android OS is optimized to cleanup less useful background services and process when needed, such apps just interrupt it.
Even more, they often kill useful app so each time Android system has to go back and restart the process, consuming more energy and resources.
Clear storage and cached data
Apps and games always save some data and cache to internal memory so they don't have to do same calculations again and again, also keep useful infos.
That's all great and useful but the problem is many apps are "lazy" enough to not clean up their own junk when no longer needed, also many uninstalled apps leave a lot data in case you'll install that app again.
Over time that can result in a lot junk that slows down your smartphone and makes it's job harder.
You can make a good cleanup using your phone's built-in settings or use some cleaner app for one time and then uninstall it
Visit Settings, Storage and look for Clear cache option. This will clear most cache you don't need.
Also, you may find some remainings using file manager app.
Remove widgets and live wallpapers
Widgets make you home screen more useful and live wallpapers are beautiful, BUT... they use a lot resources, draining your battery and overloading CPU, GPU & RAM.
If you'll use just a normal beautiful wallpaper and use little or perfectly no widgets it will save you a lot battery power and device performance.
