Andrew Joseph Cohen (born June 2, 1968) is an American radio and television talk show host, producer, and author. He is the host and executive producer of Bravo's Late Night Talk Show, with Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. Cohen also has a pop culture channel on Sirius XM called Radio Andy. Twice a week he hosts a two-hour live show with co-host John Hill. Cohen served as Bravo's executive vice president of development and talent at Bravo until 2013. He was responsible for creating original content, developing innovative formats, and identifying new talent.
Cohen also served as executive producer of the Emmy and James Baird Award-winning reality cooking competition television show, Top Chef. He is the executive producer of the Real House Views franchise, host of Watch What Happens Live on Bravo, host of Andy Cohen Live [8] on Sirius XM Channel 102, and continues to host the revival of the television dating show Low Connection.
Cohen began his television career as an intern on CBS News. He spent 10 years on the network, eventually as a senior producer on The Early Show, a producer for 48 Hours, and CBS as a producer for The Morning. [21] Network joined Trevo, [22] and later became vice president of original programming at Bravo in 2004, [23] when the network purchased Trevo. [24]
Cohen is the first public gay host of an American late-night talk show. [63] In December 2018, he announced that he would become a father in 2019 with the help of a surrogate. [64] Cohen's son Benjamin Alan Cohen was Born on February 4, 2019. [65]
Cohen is a big fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Blues.
