When Grin and Beam launched in January (and MWC forked Grin, to create a BETTER MimbleWimble coin), the hype around MimbleWimble technology was enough to enable Grin and Beam to be listed on multiple exchanges, with much investor interest.
However, the excitement quickly died down when investors learned of Grin and Beam’s horrific inflation schedules (263 million supply cap for Beam, none for Grin), as well as questions of how long it would take MW technology to be ready for widespread adoption. This, as a massive, Bitcoin-centric rally drew attention from altcoins in general, causing Bitcoin market cap dominance to surge from 50% to 60%.
However, altcoins have now joined the Bitcoin rally, with BTC dominance falling back from 60% back to 55% - and as I wrote earlier this week, from my first-hand experience at MWC, MimbleWimble technology is DRAMATICALLY advancing, to the point that by year-end, I fully expect the crypt community to not only recognize it works, but that it MUST inevitably be incorporated into Bitcoin. In other words, an historic tidal wave of crypto investment capital is on the cusp of entering the MimbleWimble space – which, due to already insurmountable barriers to entry, will ALL go into MWC, Grin, and Beam.
MWC, a FREE Bitcoin crypto-dividend that BTC holders simply need to claim before the July 19th snapshot, at www.mwc.mw, will pay its own in-kind dividend to “MWC HODLers,” and have a lifetime cap of just 20 million; of which, the final 10 million will take a century to POW mine. 25,000 BTC have already registered – and since it’s not a “first come, first serve” process, I sense an enormous amount will be registered in July.
As for this article’s provocative title, the funny thing is such an estimate can hardly be considered liberal, given how small $1.5 billion is in the scope of global finance – let alone, when one realizes MimbleWimble is THE most revolutionary technology in crypto history…that based on this week’s 65% rally in Grin and Beam, the crypto investment community is JUST starting to grasp.
As I wrote last week, ZCash is currently valued at $450 million, and Monero $1.5 billion. These are the “top privacy coins,” but compared to MimbleWimble, they are like buggy whips compared to automobiles. Sure, they have been around for awhile – and yes, they have followers. However, thinking they can compete with MimbleWimble would be like believing a “dot” could compete with PacMan. Consequently, I believe MWC, Grin, and Beam will cumulatively surpass $1.5 billion by year-end, compared to today’ cumulative valuation of just $60 million (yes, a 25-bagger!); the only question being, which of the three is worth the most, and which the least.
I believe MWC is the superior coin in all aspects – but frankly, at this point “MimbleWimble market share” doesn’t matter. To the contrary, what matters is that MimbleWimble as a whole is VASTLY undervalued – let alone, in the context of a burgeoning mega crypto bull market; and whether you BUY Grin or Beam, or REGISTER for the free MWC airdrop to BTC holders, you will be getting in early, to the most revolutionary technology in crypto history!
