I brought him home as a 20 day’s old little boy. Since then, he has been one of the most important part of my life, my family. Not just about sharing HIS happiness through his tail-wagging, his spirit of happiness and playfulness has begun to add a meaning to living a life. I named his Lerone, derived from Toblerone, my favorite chocolate.
As a pet lover, I immediately felt the connection with him. He seems to be starting to read me since the first day, and now understands my language, my tone as and when I talk to him, my mood of happiness and anger. This little boy is now a STRESS-BUSTER.
He awaits for me by the gate of the house, for my return, whenever I am out, reminding me of Hachiko.
‘This is another Hachiko’ my sister in law remarked.
When I am out of home for a week or so, the most numbers of call that I’d be getting would always be about reminding about Lerone.
‘Your kid is on a hunger strike. Come home, quick’ my mother would say. This adds the love for him more.
We, most often, treat pet as animals and keep them outside, without trying to connect the emotion and love that they’d share. But, the most pleasant love, the most beautiful emotion often comes from them.
A big shout out to all the pet lovers!
I miss JIMMY. :(
