King Arthur

Arthur Pendragon is an incredibly famous name in myths and legends, and, so it was, after having this 6 week old pup for only 5 days, i knew that he was going to be something special. He was a black masked, golden coated pup, with feet so big that they reminded me of snow shoes. A week before getting Arthur, i had, for my wife, obtained a 6 week old black male kitten whom we had named Merlin. Merlin was a real pistol, who loved chasing and tackling Arthur who was easily twice his size. Knowing Arthur was a combination of German shepherd, husky, and Canadian timber Wolf, i knew id have to find a way to promote the dog and not allow the wild in him to dominate.
Having spent a number of years working as,a professional trainer i got an idea. As Arthur was ready to enter puberty id have him neutered as soon as they dropped.
After discussing this with my vet, who loved arthur to death, because, at only 4 months , he was already nearly fully trained, we had a plan.
The vet taught me to check and monitor arthurs approach towards puberty, and voila, we caught them 3 days in. Enough hormones to help him mature, but not so much to let the wild become dominate. Today, Arthur is almost 3 years old, a trained service dog, loves the cats, as well as other dogs, and is a blessing to ![20643.jpeg]()all.
