The leopard one of the most fierce animal of its kind belong to the Felidae family. It is the smallest among the four big cats (Others: Lion, Jaguar and Tiger).
All species of leopard are found in Africa, China, Malysia and India. They are basically found in a forest habitats including mountains, deserts and grasslands.
Its dietary is basically on small deer, monkeys, rodents and little wildbeast. They often climb the branches of tree where they stay to eat their prey as well as protect it from other predators.
The Leopard can run over 30 miles/hr. its can jump up to 10 feet and can leap over 20 feet.
Matured Leopard.
Leopards are very active at night, but during the day most of them rest on the tree. They prefer living alone in their territory. They can survive in an aquatic environment because they are good in swimming.

Little leopards are called KITTEN. A female leopard can deliver 1 to 6 kitten at a time. The kitten can be about one pound at birth. They live with their mother for over 18 months before they can be allow to have their own territory and an adult leopard.
