Baning Sulawesi Or Tortoise Sulawesi (Indestudo Forstenii)

Good evening, good-bye all steemian friends. On this occasion I will post a picture that laka in the show on the media steem this is baning sulawesi or we are more familiar with the name of the tortoise.

Baning Sulawesi (Indotestudo forstenii) and in English the tortoise is known as Forsten's Tortoise or Sulawesi Tortoise.

This four-legged animal is a kind of tortoise from Sulawesi. These animals spread quite extensively from the hills of Palu Valley to about Gorontalo.

Baning Sulawesi is categorized as easily endangered. Especially by the threat of excessive exploitation and habitat loss. Therefore IUCN incorporates Sulawesi baning into Endangered status (EN, threatened extinction) [3], and CITES submits it to Appendix II. This animal is not covered by RI law.
